On payments, Belgium leaves little choice: bancontact and Bancontact Pay cover nearly every deposit, while the withdrawal arrives by transfer. Bancontact Pay is the name the Payconiq app has carried since March 2026.
Bancontact Pay caps at €1500 per transaction and €2500 per day. Available directly, no waiting; withdrawing takes as a rule one to three banking days, regardless of how fast the operator approves.
Opening and verifying an account
